The compo game I keep wanting to come back to the most. I haven't played its most obvious inspiration, but have seen videos and I prefer Tactus' specific visual aesthetic to it.

This game showcases a lot of cool stuff I've never seen executed on the NES! Also dig the attention to detail of making the sprites and game look like something from the early days of the NES/Famicom with the color choices and designs! Like if someone told me this was a lost Famicom Disk System game from 1988 I would believe them.

I think this is a really neat idea for a NES game. Very enjoyable! Looks and sounds great, and easy to pick up right away.

I really enjoyed this! The music / rhythm aspect kept me hooked. Original idea, nice execution. I kept coming back to it! In fact, I can't stop myself from hearing the music in my head!

A couple of minor feature requests: (1) the ability to pause, and (2) some kind of indicator that the player is at the edge of the room (I kept accidentally moving out of the room). Maybe the floor tiles at the edge could be a different color? Or maybe that's just on me to be more careful!

Overall - great job!

Such a good game ! I liked the music, great beats and the gameplay. I can see some inspiration from Crypt of the Necrodancer.  I only wish you added shop to buy health potions, so you can have proper use for coin collecting but overall the game is of great quality !

Good job !
