This is really well-implemented and I enjoyed it quite a bit. With some more holes and especially music and sound, I think this would make for a really great group game and I hope you take this further. I'd also consider making it so the players with the lowest score go first, because players going first are disadvantaged by having less information.
Nice, we played quite a bit of this. Start is quite annoying to press, maybe players could press start to start their turn instead? Although I appreciate that would slow down the game a little.
This plays extremely well. The kid (4) and I played quite a lot of holes. It kept their attention the entire time (maybe 8 holes) and we only quit because of bedtime.
This is already going into our favorites everdrive folder, but I'd still love to see it updated with some music and sound. 😉
Oh, and I wouldn't complain if the A button shot instead of start. 🙏
Start feels like such an unusual choice, is there a specific reason you opted for it to begin with?
Again, loved the game!
My thought process was that if people were passing the controller around it would be harder to accidentally press start.
I wish i was any good with music so i could add some.
Thanks for including the small-step modifier for precision aiming! For me this really makes the game, I got a bunch of hole-in-ones thanks to it. Lots of fun maps, but more would be nice. Some sounds for feedback (maybe even an applause sample for when I score another amazing hole in one?) I had a lot of fun with this
Oh, I just tested that (hold B). Did I miss that documentation somewhere, or did you find it through trial and error?
I should update the itch.io page with better instructions and maybe add a screen with instructions.
