  • Easy to grasp and fun to execute! The narrative weaved around the simple gameplay really elevated the experience, gave me a purpose for doing what I was doing and kept me motivated to succeed. The puzzles were fun and engaging — I did notice some visual glitches while dragging the cable between the connectors where they would just become dotted lines, but it didn't impact the results. Those electric walls were the bane of my existence for a bit there, enough that I started trying to go too fast and instead kept dying more — I mention this because it's a good thing, means I was fully engaged and immersed with the game. I really wanted to succeed and get out, which is a great indicator that you did your job well! The assets were fun to interact with, and helped make things clear throughout the rooms, keeping them just different enough from each other with the puzzle design that progression was fluid. Loads of fun! I wanted more rooms and more puzzles, but that's a sign that it was a well made game.

Really cool game, and interesting idea for a puzzle mechanic!

This also has the best button-pressed sounds I think I've ever heard, which is a minor detail but still worth pointing out.

I do have a few recommendations (but I'm pretty new to game-dev so take them with a grain of salt):

1. The timer should probably be paused when reading the tutorial.

2. There should probably be some kind of transition animation between levels. The lack of transition caused me to run straight into an electric fence the second a level began, since I was still pressing W when I got to the door of the last level.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback, and yes, im very happy with how the buttons turned out. i can definitely stop the timer in the tutorial, and i am working on a transition between levels.

Haha, the sound design is hilarious. The game is fun to play, but it's too short I think

Developer

Thanks, I'm gonna be adding a bunch more levels in the next few weeks, I just didn't have time before the jam ended. We also have a great idea for the dlc, so stay tuned for updates

I like this game, very neat. There were a few graphical bugs with the wires but it worked properly gameplay wise!

Developer

yeah, still fixing some of those visual bugs, but at least I submitted it in a playable state
