- The swinging mechanic is so much fun! I loved the art direction with the color palette -- it was simple, but it was intuitive and engaging enough. It was super enjoyable to play, and I can definitely see a load of replayability in this one as well. I think employing these mechanics in a larger game would also be a good call -- they're truly fun and dynamic, but I do think the novelty might hit a peak and then taper off, unless the concept is merged/broken up with something else. But what a fun little game! It truly stuck to the theme as well, if with a very literal interpretation (hey, it worked). Very nice work! Also, I always recommend a music mute button, even though the soundtrack wasn't grating or anything.

Hope you will add new features of gameplay in future if you gonna keep working on it
Really cool game, graphics are really coherent and I really like the physics
love the gradient in the title
took me ages to do it as im not really much of an artist lol
Very good minimalistic game! It has a great flow in the movement and those level transitions are a nice touch.
thanks!
Really fun! I had a great time playing it- cute music, fun mechanics. Nice job! :)
thankyou!
Very neat concept, a full story for Dio could very easily be implemented to match the theme!
i actually did have one in mind but it was way out of scope lol, maybe in the future? thanks!
Very fun game, hope theres a dlc coming soon!
thank you! i hope your game gets its dlc too!
don’t worry, my team has the dlc all thought out with deep lore too
Fun game, I'd definitely play more levels! Really enjoyed the music, graphics, and physics.
Great game! It's a simple platformer with a fun mechanic of connecting the wires. One critique I have is the ports not having a pronounced outline. I noticed them in some areas, but they would blend to easily in the brighter colors of other areas.
I never used the 'R' key to release since jumping already did that for me, but I would just have the same mouse click or 'E' key to do that instead to simplify the control scheme.
Nice job and congrats on your first game!
ive seen a few things about controls lately. i do think that adding customisable keybinds would be a good idea for the game but also just making the controls alot better the the first place, thanks for playing and for the feedback ill take it all into consideration!
It was a simple but very fun game! You did well at the end of saying the time cause this could easily be a speedrunning game! Evrything fits very well! Good job!
That was some simple fun! I like the art style! Swinging is fun! Music you chose is good!
This is great and the swinging is very satisfying. I think it'd be better if the wires would reset back to normal faster when you're not swinging on them, so that if you mess up you can try again without waiting so long. As a speed run it's great though because you probably won't be messing up. Music is great and art is very fitting.
cool idea, the gameplay was simple and fun, super enjoyable.
second try with 0:45:059
thats a great time good job! and thanks :))
The wires were fun to swing on! And I am unsure but it looks like you used the palette that was given, if so great use of it!
yeah i did use the palette! thank you!
Quite fun, loved the style and physics!
thankyou!
Really cool game! The controls were nice and fluid. Fun simple platformer. I got 3 minutes!
I think the gravity was to high, but the music and sound effects were perfect!!
i did actually wonder if the gravity was a bit too high actually, i might mess around with it a bit later! and glad you enjoyed it and achieved a solid time!
Yeah, it might be a cool game if you make more and more levels. Good luck!
Check out our game if you have time too! I would appreciate any feedback :)
yeah id love to do alot more with this one! and yeah for sure!
Awesome little game! Controls feel good. My only question. Why only music for the left ear?
honestly, i didnt realise it was only in the left ear! i can potentially look into this but ill have to try and replicate it first as ive never experienced this!
Just checked with headphones. It's not panned hard left, However it isn't panned center. It is pushed to the left. Your sound person could have very well did it purposefully!
Yeah it sounds good to me
hm interesting, ill tell the sound guy (me) to check it out!
lol
As a last note. The title screen starts almost center for me. But as soon as gameplay starts it shifts over to like 80% panned left.
oh! yeah thats a bit no bueno ill check that out too, thanks for all the feedback :))
Really good for a first game! The art is simple, yet pleasing to look at and I love the music. There could be more polish with the visuals and the camera movement. It was easier to manuever the level when the camera was still. I would also recommend making the pixel sizes more consistent.
The control scheme was kinda weird, but not difficult to handle. The button for releasing stuff should be the same button, so you could hold the button for grabbing stuff.
The game was short, but it was enjoyable while it lasted. It was also nice to see a timer for speedrunning.
Great job overall! :]
thank you! yeah in retrospect the controls are pretty weird so maybe ill look into this in the future!
2:09! Can't believe it's your first game! Great use of physics, it was very fast but enjoyable!
great time! glad you enjoyed :))
3:10. Thanks for the game! I loved the swinging mechanic. The controls got a bit of getting used to (I ended up using the mouse button) but once I got the hang of it it was fun! Nice music too.
Yeah the mouse button was suggested by a few people playtesting it and i definitely agree that it feels way nicer and way easier lol, glad you enjoyed and you got a good time!
