Really great game jam game!
I appreciate the effort on the different mechanics for the AI companion!!
I would love to know more about it, especially when you press 'A' how the AI becomes collidable.
Also I'm not sure if there are more levels to it, but when I collected 10 apples for the second level it just stayed as it is. no next level maybe?
I would suggest for you to show an end screen for these cases.
Thanks for participating!
There are 10 levels. The issue might be that both characters have to be present at the end gate that is present at the start of second level (which isn't explicitly said, sorry for that)
Ohhh I got it, I will play it again, thanks!
Wow great job! A nice variety of puzzles, I did wish that the partner control mechanic was a little more predictable, but overall nice game! : )
Thanks! Yeah, it does act little bit quirky. Hopefully it doesn't hinder any progress in the game :D
Very cool game. I like your take on the companion theme!
I liked the idea of playing as a couple helping each other and that some apples naturally fit into the scene growing on trees . However the game was quite challenging for me, haven't expected that it wound take so long to complete, and unfortunately I still don't really get how "help to the partner" works :c
Thanks for the feedback. By design is made in a way that you are able to jump two blocks high and your partner can jump only one block. So the "help your partner" mechanic is meant to make your partner climb on obstacles that are 2 blocks high. While you hold the S key, he'll try to navigate to you if you are above him and if he gets close enough to you it should trigger a second jump, to reach you.
Oh thanks, I got it, feel so stupid now xd
No worries. My fault for not making it clearer.. :D
