Very interesting concept kind of wish the digging was a little faster, i thought the idea of it taking time is interesting but the pacing of the game just seems like it would be more fun to just have immediate hole digging xD lighting and atmosphere were a nice touch!

This is super cool loved all the art and the systems were pretty fun super solid entry! : )

Thanks for playing! : ) I had a lot of fun with those, I always wish my game art and my title art looked more similar, but im always working towards that!

There was a bug that made that level waaaay to hard i fixed and everything should be good now! there is some original art at the end that turned out pretty cool, so if you want that level should be easier and there should be one more level after and that is all : ) Thanks for playing!

The little frogs were super cute characters! I would love to see more amphibian sprites! : ) I feel like multiplayer and fighting games are super ambitious, so im looking forward to see whats next for you!

Thank you for playing! : )

oooooh! lots of good points here, Im going to try to improve some of those systems to have a more final polished product, I think alot of your points could bring the game up to a more finished state, thanks for taking the time to play it and give me such a good write up!

Thanks for playing, yeah i need to work on making some of those collisions more understandable, thanks for comment!

Very cool game! Really liked the color pops of red in the grey world, would have loved to have a way gaining health back, and also i was not to sure what end game was. But this was a great jam entry!

That was crazy good! Only thing I wish was better would be the way the sword swings and the hitboxes, sometimes i couldn't see the arrow that was killing me. So cool tho!

That was great! Enjoyed the nice short adventure, also loved the colors and honestly the mechanics were simple and fun to play with, the enemies with the arrows telling you attack patterns were pretty cool, I love literal imagery. Nice entry!

That was pretty fun, it really made me go back to the NES era, Ninja Gaiden came to mind, I really liked a lot of what was going on the game, but I sorta felt out of control at times, my attack seemed slow, and there were certain situations I dint feel like I could get out of it without getting damaged. I think tweaking a bit of the physics and the characters attacks and you would end up with a sharper game, but that's just opinions lol. Great entry!

Pretty interesting game, I really like the idea of going to kill creatures and then cooking them through some mini games, I ran into a few bugs, could not cook salad (it would freeze the game), and also death sent me to kitchen, but i was also stuck after that point. Fixing some of those bugs might make the experience better, but I think its already a successful jam game!

Thank you for playing, and for giving such a thorough review I really appreciate that! I think a lot of comments are super valid, I need to rework some of the koku rewards vs prices, and also I 100% need to add more animations throughout! Im hoping I can polish it a bit and leave it at a state that im proud of. Thanks again for the constructive criticism! : )

Oh thanks for hosting this awesome jam and for playing my game! Yeah i think it be cool to cut the arrows down or something, ill take note of that!

Thanks for playing! Yeah.. I need to fix the whole, you lose your samurai when the level ends bit. Im glad you got to experience a little bit of the strategy involved in the game, I still have the lower the spearmen's difficulty. Those guys are just too unpredictable at the moment.

Fantastic game! the mechanics feel nice, the combat is pretty interesting, I was having a bit of hard time with defending and attacking my fingers would get confused, so many times i was attacking or defending wrong, maybe using the arrow keys for the attacks and defense and awsd for exclusive movement might be a good solution, but it was enjoyable all over, great art too!

Thanks for giving the game a try! I really need to make the arrows collision smaller, just the tip so its easier to navigate around them!

Got to play it for a bit and i really liked where the art direction is going with this one! Really enjoyed the paper look, great job how far you got! : )

Pretty interesting concept! I think it feels like a great learning experience for the dev, and the concept would be cool to expand on, i feel like the speed of the attacks starts out being very difficult maybe there should be a curve that starts slower and increases speed as the fight continues.

Amazing I think you stepped up the art antics for this one! Those animations are so smooth, the story was very interesting and the mask scene was so good! I hope there can be a little more story to see what happens to the hero! Great work as always! : )

Thank you for playing my game! Im glad you enjoyed it! : )

That was so fun! I really liked the physics aspect of the game, sometimes it was a little finniky but i was having a ton of fun with it, i ended up using the musket a ton specially with those big guys lol they scary. I got to like round 7 where it got pure insanity mode xD I really liked the game!

Thanks for the kind words! Oh that's interesting, I found myself using the light samurai a ton! I wonder what a full Medium samurai run would be like lol Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing and for the kind words! I really wanted to focus on that Ukyo-e style of art, and I think I got close to that!

Thanks for playing it! I hope i can muster some more creative juices to make the village a little more interesting maybe some more npcs and who knows maybe more samurai or other classes, i need to keep working on some of those hit boxes too xD

thank you for playing it, it's always great to have people play it on video! Always super helpful feedback!

Thank you for the kind words, and I do want to continue working on the balance of the game! ill also shrink their hitboxes, they are pretty large xD

Very interesting! i was super interested in tetris, and i think that the enviorment being creepy was great, i wanted to look away, but i also dint want too. Good job at mixing these two elements together in a fun way!

Thanks for playing it and for that awesome complement! Ive yet to play Dwarf Fortress but its on my list of things to play before i die xD

Thanks for playing and for the encouraging words!

Yeah, i feel like you are able to cut down the trees to quick for the monsters to catch up, in future iterations i need to make sure its a bit more balanced. Thanks for playing! : )

I really enjoyed the gameplay, there is a special place in my heart for these type of games, i think its kind of a bummer that i dont really get to look at the cool monster art, while im focusing on those arrows xD

Thank you for the encouragement, im planning on updating some stuff in the course of the voting, im shooting for an update after the competition is over!

Yeah i need to find some balance with how fast the enemies move vs how fast you can cut wood. Im gonna keep working on that, thanks for playing!

Thank you for giving the game a try! Future updates ill try to see if i can up the tension a bit!

Thanks! yeah i need to add a little bit more variety in the cutting wood and all that, thanks for giving the game a try!

I thought the game was pretty fun, i really liked the lighting!

Thanks for playing, yeah I want to add an enemy that does pathfinding, so that way something is always chasing you more closely, so that way you have to drop more wood.
