What a challenge! I included it in my Nordic Game Jam Online compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Very cute game. Needs a bit more safeguards for physics. One of the toasts didn't fly off (got jammed) and I couldn't finish the game without restart.

Thanks for the feedback! Fair point that things can get borked pretty easily, I wanted to adjust the weights and forces to fix that but ran short on time.

Cute game, and really cute interpretation of the theme!

The instructions are really useful but they are also annoying since they block the play area. Maybe you can put them elsewhere?

Developer

If you click the mouse they dissappear, but you're right it can be a little disorienting. I'll keep that in mind for in the future though, thanks!

My toast flew out when I least expected it. Giggles were had!

Enjoyed blocking jack's toast. I believe he starved because of me :D

Love this, it's super cute and playful, and a great "explanation" of the everyday magic of toast. :D

Really cool concept! I saw your presentation, for a first game this is pretty great! Congrats :)

I really liked the art of the game. Good Job :)

Thanks, glad to hear! Was an experiment, and some if it worked out pretty well! If you every want to do something like this, make sure the DPI of the art all matches.

I really enjoyed this game because it felt, in a sense, *real*, as though this is truly how toasters work.

A perfect example of a Jam Game done right.

I liked the art a lot, it seemed playful.

I look forward to playing your next games!

Thanks! I was definitely going for something goofy and playful, so glad it came across.

It certainly did! Your game is one of my favorite jam games I've ever seen, and the best of this jam!
