If you have a questions regarding the rules, feel free to comment it in this thread

i didnt quite understand.  we arent allowed to use old art, but i can make new art right?

Host

The art has to be made with the engine you are using, and no old art allowed. Check rule (1),(2),(3) for more details

Anything that isn't the default isn't allowed.

so If I Understand well... I can't "CREATE" a new Unity Material with the Color Red for exemple?

It seems like materials are fair game (referring to a few other threads.) Even ShaderGraph seems to be okay (in so far as using default Unity texture nodes, such as noise. ) The biggest thing is you can't use custom textures/sprites, so no albedo/UV maps, but solid colors seem to be fine, am I correct?

So if I make any king of "Texture" in Shader graph using Mathematic that does not output "image" file (and not Image code converted) it should be ok?

(1 edit)

The rules seem to lean that external image/texture/sprite/model related items are a no go, and shaders are fine. If it can be made entirely in your engine, you're good.

When it says: Procedural-generated textures, I can Use Unity Shader Graph?

Also, can I use an Noise and apply it as an Normal Map, still using Shader Graph? No external texture.

Yes and yes

Seems like there's way too much exceptions that people is wondering, so I may as well say, any settings you can use to create graphical component that doesn't involve sampling something outside of the engine is allowed.
