Artist's Statement
For the second No Video Jam I wanted to expand upon what I built and learned from the first. Importantly, it gave me a fresh space to try out different terrain generation techniques and new mechanics like jump jets and crafting. Of course, it wouldn't be one of my games if it wasn't fully synthesized, complete with an ambient soundscape to explore. Feedback on this project will influence the mechanics I bring back into S.E.A., as well as my next major project. Enjoy!

Seriously awesome!  The kind of game I could easily get lost in for hours.  The physics, scanning, and haptics are amazing and the audio atmosphere and crafting system are a great way for VI gamers to experience the genre accessibly!

It's very interesting visually and sound wise but i wasn't sure what to do.  I didn't know with the scan if I was supposed to go to where the sound was the most weird sounding or not. I was able to find a piece of silver but i couldn't find out how to use it.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. I’m sorry that I didn’t give you enough information to be successful. I’ve expanded the E.X.O. manual to include details on movement, terrain sonification, materials, and synthesizing exosuit upgrades. Hope this helps. Cheers!

I remember playing your last one. I like the pinging and being able to tell where to go for something. I couldn't figure out how to use the scan feature though.
