Ooo this game  hurts so good. Very well done.  It was a nice challenge, and the art is quite beautiful on top of that. I don't know if it's just my keyboard but there was intermittent input lags. But the rest was so good i just pushed through and kept enjoying myself.

Thank you! I wanted to make this game hurt, although I could have worked a bit more on the collisions. I wanted to make the game feel rewarding to those who stuck with it, so thanks for pushing through!

Sorry, but I couldn't manage to get across the first screen. It took me several times each time to just get on the first platform. When I finally got my character on it, then my character often kept on jumping and I missed the next platform. When I reached the next platform successfully, then I always fell off while trying to jump towards the next. I tried for a couple minutes and then gave up.

A shame, because it seems you have a couple good things in the game.

I loved the minimalist way of this game! And I'm not only talking about the graphics, but also about that first platform that it is a tutorial itself! After that the game is very enjoyable and with a clever use of checkpoints.

I gave it a solid 5 minutes, but I was never able to get past the second platform...

I would always bounce/slide of it even without input :(

Thanks for the feedback. The collider on the player has rounded edges, so that explains why you keep sliding down.  The only difficult platform for me is the first one. Once I get on that, I pause before jumping to the next one. Maybe you need to pause before jumping again if you already aren't. It is possible to complete the game, I've tested it many times, but with the game jam constraints perhaps I didn't get enough testing which made the difficulty spikes uneven.
