Gratz on #1! You definitely deserved it!

Developer

Thank you very much!! :)

Wow, very good. The concept was great, and very enjoyable! I think the platforming could be improved (platforming in tight spaces was hard, little forgiveness. And sometimes, you'd hold up to jump, but then jump again when you landed, which was annoying, because I'd jump into a spike and die)

Overall though, great game!

Developer

Thank you very much.

You are very right about the platforming, and the continuing jump problem was something I have no idea how I overlooked. I'll make sure to fix that in an update.

I am shocked at the positive reception this game got, thanks again. :)

Very enjoyable game, a lot of different ways to exploit the mechanic. I loved making a bridge of corpses to cross the pit haha.

Developer

It's great to hear you enjoyed my game, thanks for checking it out! :)

We have similar ideas,
but your game is more way better.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it!

I would've liked to play your game too, but I can't seem to get it to run, even downloaded the missing dll... Nevertheless, don't underappreciate it. They're not the same, and as far as the jam goes, what matters is doing the best you can under the given constraints, which I'm sure you did. :)

I apologize, you may watch the gameplay here.

OMG. You have to play my game. The first three levels are almost exactly the same as mine XD

Developer

Sounds interesting, I will check it out. I'll let you know how it goes. :P

Great game. Probably the best use of the theme too.

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing! :)

best game i've seen in this jam

use of theme was creative, it was very enjoyable, tons of smart ways to beat the level

if only there were more levels, the levels in the beginning were a lot simpler and the simplicity transition was overall smoother

i hope you'll expand the game after the jam and we'll see more in the future

Developer

The game being too short is the best criticism I could have hoped for, haha.

I didn't consider further improving on it after the jam up until now...I'll think about it.

Thanks for checking it out and leaving feedback, I'm very happy you like it! :)

Great game, while it may not have the most inovative idea the execution is absolutely great. One of the best games I've played this jam.

I am glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thank you for trying it out! ^^

The best implementation of this idea I've seen from this jam! The controls are good, the graphics are very readable and authentic and the mechanics all go together in a fun way. The level design is great in the way it teaches about all the elements. Was it me or did some levels could be solved in multiple ways (like the long room with the spike, why not just kill myself? xD).

Good work on this!

Developer

I am very happy you enjoyed my game!

You described the graphics way better than I could have. I was thinking about it when testing... I was sure I didn't recreate the Mona Lisa (I'm not an artist, just take a look at the game's cover image... maybe a reason it's not so popular :P), but yeah, I'm glad it turned out that way, "readable". :D

And yeah, a few levels have multiple, very different solutions. For instance, in the last (well, second to last) level of the game you can jump over the final button and just go through the portal. The long hallway with the spike is a bit random, though, haha.

Thanks a lot for checking it out!

Wonderful in many ways. The idea is great, even if it's common. I love the way you consciously teach the player the mechanics as we play. Very thoughtful game design. Also, the sounds hurts my ears, but that's like a real 3310! Well done! My favorite so far.

Developer

I am very happy to hear you enjoyed the game this much and even more to see that you noticed the way mechanics are introduced.

I wasn't sure about the design, to be honest, but the feedback makes me more confident in this type of approach for games to come. Thanks! ^^

This was the best game out of all I played. Thanks for creating it! :)

Developer

It was very cool! But have some bugs when standing on corpses.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yeah, for some reason at some point I decided to draw the collision boxes for the corpses in a skewed way, no idea why, haha.
