I feel like the movement would have needed more polish. It wasn't bad, it performed well, up until you asked to do precise things. Then it start to feel like it doesn't do what I told it to do. Especially on the zig-zaggy level. It either didn't put down the mine or didn't jump, even though I pressed up and down, both. At least this is what it felt like. Yet again, it was happening really quickly.

The main mechanic, which is that you cannot kill enemies, only temporarily disable them, felt creative. However it feels like it could have been explored further, without presenting an extremely precise level, that feels more of a hassle than a challenge. This might only be because I'm not that good at it.

Sadly it does not follow the 84x48 resolution, otherwise it would follow the restrictions perfectly. Sadly both the enemies and the player breaks the resolution limit, they are most of the time between the "pixels". Another thing is that is should not use the mouse, hence the Nokia 3310 didn't have a mouse, only 12 buttons.

Overall, pretty nice game with consistent visuals! :)

Thank you for the feedback! The "laggy controls" are most propably because of it's the browser version, they might work better in the downloaded version. Atleast I noticed audio lag in the browser version. The resolution thing is absolutely true.

Decent entry, I wish the jump was more far reaching also the placement of certain platforms was a little off but up to around level 6.

Nice job! I got stuck when I had to zig zag up. I was grateful that I could retry the same level I died on.

Thanks for playing!

Very cool work, I enjoyed playing. Clean presentation, easy to understand. Don't think it's a problem that the game gets hard: a challenge is good, and makes people think about the mechanics. Speaking of which, I think stunning the enemies rather than killing them was really what sets your idea apart from any typical platformer. Made me think about platforms in a different way, which I enjoyed. Probably my favorite choice you made was to NOT put the player all the way at the start of the game when they got hit. Being right back on the same challenge I was trying to beat very much encouraged me to keep playing.

Very polished game. One thing though is that  the game should have been easier. You gave us a warning but, the warning means nothing when the player feels cheated with the big colliders and they don't feel accomplished when completing a level. I shouldn't be talking though because my subbmission https://itch.io/jam/nokiajam3/rate/909971 has the most poor colliders ever in game history.

Cool idea, but way too strict on the player I feel. I know you said the game is about being hard,  but you can have a hard game and still have some more leeway for the player. Other than that, I'd say you did a good job

Cool idea, I like the mine mechanic instead of a normal projectile or sword. Some of the platforms/enemy placements are a little tight though. I also wouldn't limit the number of mines you can use in a level since most of the time you will only have one on the ground when jumping from platform to platform. Overall this is a good game with a cool mechanic that is just a little too difficult.

Thanks for the review! (The game is actually about being hard)
