This game is simply AWESOME! Very cool touch on ON/OFF theme, random level generation, dungeon exploration and boss fight. And that extensive manual. To be honest I didn’t need this because gameplay is self-explainable. That’s mindblowing what can be done with such restrictions. My favourite entry! :)
Thank you!
This is super cool. Rounds are fast and switching between the TV and tiles is nice and snappy. The boss is a bit big and can put you in spots where you can't really dodge well but isn't too much of a problem I find. I'll probably be playing more of this later just cause it's so quick to do so.
This is a really cool game with very well integrated mechanics and a great visual style
It was fun! The boss battle especially was fun. Took me two tries to beat it. Reminds me of this old atari game called 'Adventure', in that you move around screens, get keys, and such.
Gameplay is varied, though the player's motion feels a bit sluggish to me. Reading the manual outside the game is essential, as I don't think I could have made heads or tails of what was happening without a primer.
The conceit of a display which is slowly obscured and must be periodically "refreshed" is an interesting mechanic based on the jam's theme.
Aesthetically, this game adheres to all the constraints of the jam well.
Thank you for playing the game!
damm really nice various play styles and really good art of the limited space :)
Glad you liked the game)
