This is very fun and well-designed, and I especially like the cool animations

The sound design and level design was really cool in this - it almost felt like a rhythm game. And the player's sprite had a lot of personality. Nicely done! Here's my playthrough.

Woohoo! Mastered the Katana. Absolutely love the sound design and tying it in with a progressive difficulty increase. Like others said, slashing the flag to complete was such a nice little addition. Character looks great as well.

Great job on the incremental difficulty and character control, it was a really solid experience. I love the idea of slashing the flag in half to complete a level, nice touch!

Nice game! I wish the hitboxes were a little more forgiving, but you had great controls and animations - especially the flag slice at the end.

I very much enjoyed your game! I liked the aesthetic a lot, and my only complaint is that it was not longer, though I suppose with the constant acceleration of the rhythm the levels would have eventually become unplayable, haha. Very nicely done!

FUN. I really like the audio cue for the switching feature

Hey, this is a really fun game

Your sprite work has a lot of personality, especialy considering the limitations. The controls are nice and responsive too. I don't think the inclusion of the sword is really that important, since most of the time you are mainly jumping, but that's a small nitpick.

I really like how you implemented the theme in this game. Platforms switching on and off to the rhytm of the music, as it gets faster and faster is a really cool idea.

However, I think that there is a problem with sound design. You see, I think that the music should have been the only thing that's playing. Not only do the sound effects make it harder to follow the rhytm, but it's also just against the rules of the jam. It is written: "one audio channel and one sound played at a time. " Your game however, has many sounds playing at the same time.
