wow, thanks peeps for your nice comments! we indeed missed out on gameplay and story as we focused on other stuff. we made some voices that we didn't manage to put in, but we'll try to update the game after the voting, cause we kinda like the atmosphere we've created.

Nice visuals, audio and transitions.
Didn't seem like NPC's were interactable.
Could be a real cool thing with further development.

Nice job on the art style, and the mood. Relaxing stuff :)

I really like the art style and sound, also love that you have an intro! I wasn't sure of what my goal was in the game, seemed that the villagers only talked once. Would've loved to see more dialogue! :)

Looks amazing! The animations are so smooth and nice :)

The visual style is absolutely amazing and impressive. You can definitely see where your strengths lie, just the fact that you made a cinematic intro mindblowing and looks fantastic. It's a shame that some of the gameplay is a bit underdeveloped because I could imagine having a lot of fun with the game if it would be further developed.
Great work with the artistic execution, the game is fun, the music is fitting. I just wished it would loop a bit tighter and there would be SFX for the objects on the boat

A really relaxing game with a great intro and fitting art. But it does also feel like a lot of the focus was put on that aspect of the game, including the visuals, as the gameplay itself appears to have been put to the side. Catching the various (5) types of fish works, but you can't do anything with them. The villages will talk once, but then do nothing and nothing happens when you go a shore - no matter how many you catch (with the exception of getting rollerskates when those are caught :D I enjoyed that). I had also hoped to maybe get a reaction from the mermaid, but sadly no. So I see a lot of potential here, but not much to do yet.

I really like the aesthetics, both art and sounds. Too bad it feels unfinished from a gameplay perspective.

I really like the sound aesthetic. The graphics are simple, but really well put together, I quite enjoyed that unique art style.

My first catch was a mermaid 10/10

Love the movement and transitions between scenes! Very smooth. Song sets the mood! Villagers are assholes :(

Loved the art and the vibe of the game, it was both hilarious and very chill

I couldn't quite interact with the people on the dock but I think that's something you'll fix soon.

And I finally fished a mermaid!

Thanks TheDarkRyze! We are planning to record more sounds and dialog this week so the NPC's have something to say :)
