I like it. The island inhabitants are sweet, perhaps a bit unrealistically kind. They are all so sweet I don't want to try to upend their culture after how nice they have been to Kelly...
I think the game would also make an interesting commentary on foreign policy and colonialism, where on one hand it is not the main character's place to change the island to a different culture, but at the same time a repressive culture can be harmful with far-reaching consequences, and is thus a very complicated topic.
Overall, your game is engaging and interesting, and I like how characters are described. I'm imagining Mark looks like Sisyphus from Hades (2020).
The lack of time punished this novel so there is a strange feel i share with Imperial Pixe. I felt bad corrupting this paradise, but it shows us how new ideas are not always good for everyone, i could not imagine where all this will lead and don't know if there is a punishment or a reward for corrupting them, because after some turns it goes into an infinite well repeating the same scenes and sentences over and over.
I would like to see where this all ends in the future.
Pretty simple, but its fun and the images are pretty. Over all wish there were more random events and more interactions, but considering time restraints its pretty good over all.
Great work, would love to see it develop more later on, :D!
Ah, I assumed I was the one being corrupted. Corrupting the idyllic island feels a bit cruel.
Progression felt pretty random, since I couldn't really predictably advance any of the character stories. Mark and Jacob both just seem to vanish after the first couple interactions and repeating the same scenes with Jessi several times was just tedious and I tried again.
Yea Im half way through new scenes for Jacob but couldnt finish it in time :(
Also working on more scenes with Ellie and Jessi that progress based on your corruption of them
