We do NOT have a theme for this game jam - Bring ANY game ideas and pitch them to the team, group up and make your game ideas come true! 

The purpose of the Nyama-Jam is to experience the extreme flurry of creating a vision. Bind together with your teammates while under intense time pressure - an authentic game jam experience!

Quick decisions, quick hands, and quick minds unite to rapidly produce a final product worthy of the below categories:

Community Favourite:  ALL games will be entered. This will be the game that receives the most overall votes for best game in the jam.

Technical Excellence: Demonstrates the most impressive amount of technical proficiency. This includes aspects such as sophisticated rendering techniques or technologies such as networking and AI, and much more.

Best Story: The most captivating, funny, impactful, enjoyable or meaningful story told through the game's narrative. It has left a memorable mark on you.

Most Engaging: You couldn't seem to stop playing this game! You felt completely immersed in the game world, mechanics, art, and/or storyline. This is a game you would consider revisiting in the future!

Most Original: This category considers all aesthetical aspects of the game (VFX, art, UI, game feel, etc.). In order to qualify for this award, you will need to have CREATED ALL OF YOUR OWN ASSETS (Excluding fonts). Please indicate in your submission if your game contains external assets. 

1. You are NOT required to pitch or come up with any idea!

2. All idea pitches must be done and concocted alone

3. No one can work in the game jam alone!
