Entering for Best Story and Most Original. As someone who has never been the sole programmer on a game jam I would enter for Technical Excellence but please don't look at this code.

I'm so impressed at what you managed to build in such a short amount of time!

The writing is strong - I love that it brings these trade routes to light, showing an impressive side of the history of our continent. The visuals really aide the story, and the atmosphere in each area is so engrossing.

I ultimately wasn't able to leave the third city, but the experience up to that point was great.

Riker, the work you put into this vision shines so brightly and the Tanaka you were able to visualise the idea in a great way!  The game is a bit mechanically simple, but it leans into better communicating the story - which is obviously the main and most important aspect
