I for the life of me cannot figure out how to save the ghosts! I kept dying whenever I hit the little blue thing at the top of the level. It's not really clear where I'm supposed to take the ghosts to save them/clear the level. That being said, using monogame to create a game is really difficult. My first games were made in pygame, and I found it super difficult to not get my sprite characters stuck in trees, and other things they were supposed to bounce off/be blocked by. Really cute little game. I'm really glad you decided to join us for the game jam, and I hope you stick around for more of them. I'm planning another one in December some time, and I'm going to throw up a poll on the discord for input on the theme of the next one. https://discord.gg/9UR3g58h
Some friendly advice if you like making pixel art games, but don't want the trouble of developing the backend yourself, Godot is really great at pixel art games. But, if you're really into making the engine part of it as well, stick with what you're doing now. Cheers! :)
thanks for trying it out. I know i did not signify how to play well. You have to collect all 5 ghosts then go to the blue section to save them. It probably would have been better to make it so you can save each one individualy.
