Great sounds. The spaceship feels very fluid while moving. But, aiming is difficult. Maybe add a crosshair

Thank you for the reply, this was unfortunately cut so i could release it to the GameJam as soon as this is over I will be uploading a new version with an extra power up (Laser Aim) and a crosshair , im not sure of the rules of updating the game before the end of the Jam

Although it is a pretty impressive game, there is no sense of aim in this game. Many times I was unable to fire at an enemy until it came too close to my ship. Also there is not HUD to show much much damage can my ship take or is there any score system. Enemy projectiles don't stand out and that makes it difficult to know if someone is attacking my ship or not.

I think you can improve this game after the jam.

I agree, this was my very first attempt at making a game 100% from scratch, the lack of HUD is a time constraint issue as there was a big coding problem which inadvertently took too much time, lots of planned features were removed so I had to make some very hard choices.  If this is something more people would play then I will very happily continue working on it as i had lots of fun challenging myself with this, there are another 5 enemy types and a boss that i would like to add. im glad at least you were impressed with the concept so that a win for me

Really hard to hit ships since you're firing at an angle. Graphics look nice though.

I agree, this is because I had to cut out an HUD which was a hard decision for me. Glad you like the graphics im pretty proud on how they turned out
