I enjoyed the sound effects and the fluid gameplay mechanics. I think this game could benefit from a few more pixels and colors tho lol. The trail left behind the player can sometimes make it hard to see where the player center is exactly. Got kind of hard to read the timer too, especially when it blended in with the walls. Still It was great fun slingshotting from corridor to corridor. At its core the gameplay is solid. Awesome job.
I really liked the sounds! Great jobs, specially in 3 hours! WOW
Although the particle effect is very interesting when moving, I think reducing the time they stay in the screen would make it a little cleaner.
The gameplay worked well for me. Took me a moment to get use to the mouse slingshot, but once I did it was a fun mechanic.
The retro style was an interesting choice. (I think I saw there was a Nokia jam, so I'm assuming this was for that as well?) I'd like to see the timer changed a bit though. In certain places, I could see it all that well. Maybe a solid dark box behind it? Or maybe a slight top part outside the general play area?
Overall, a nice entry. I recognize that you did this to work in all three jams. Great job!
The timer was added just at the end and I almost ran out of time, but I am thinking of making the game a more levels a little later, so I will look at it then. Thanks for playing! I first planned for the nokia jam but then realized I could not use mouse controls so that went out the window.
I love the retro style ! But it is really hard to track the time since it’s kinda blur. Nice and simple gameplay, but it doesn’t fit the theme…
A bit laggy. Consider how you're using the process function and any timers in Godot.
Fun trying to beat the time, though.
Thanks for playing! I was planning to make the game have more levels and whatnot after the jams, so I will look into the lag as well!
