Thanks for playing and the feedback!
I certainly considered an enter button. I also had, but later removed and auto-submit after 4 characters were entered...changed it to 5
I decided against it because it broke the historical accuracy. A future version, however, will likely have a sensitivity slider to allow people to choose to play faster or slower.
Thank you, @sneakysteve!
It's not perfect, I agree. My hope is to keep fine-tuning it after the jam voting is over.
It was a lot to tweak the interface. I change it and played it numerous times on various platforms. Seems a mouse button is easier than a space bar. Certain touch devices are better than others.
Thanks for playing and your feedback.
Have you ever wanted to learn Morse Code? Here's your chance in a fun way!
Morse Mania: Send telegraph messages. Beat the clock. Make money.
It's a timed puzzle game where you tap morse code to transmit a message over a telegraph wire as fast and accurately as you can before time runs out.
Introducing Cupid's Challenge.
It's a simple arcade-like shooter where you are cupid, playing matchmaker by finding matching couples to hit with your love arrows. Match two and score. Hit the same one twice and lose points.
There are 4 levels each with their own unique style and music. Multipliers increase the speed and difficulty as the game progresses.
I made this for the Coding Sucks jam. If anyone would like to help debug it or give feedback before I submit it, I'd be grateful.
Either way, enjoy it. It's only my second solo game.
Neat concept that sort of combines a maze game into the experience.
But it's hard to see the doors with all the crowds of people. Also the character - despite the hat - gets lost in the shuffle a lot. Particularly considering the doors don't line up where you think they might. An elevator or stairway mechanism might have been better.
Could be real fun with some refinements.
