Hi all!

I'm new here on itch.io and I've never done a game jam.  I graduated from a Sound Design for visual media school last year, and have been working on sounds for film in the past year.  I love video games, and am hoping to improve my sound design skills.  I've done a Game Collab while I was at the school, working on SFX for the main character, as well as the Point of Contact for the sound team.  I have some experience with wwise, and FMOD, but definitely looking to improve in those areas as well.

I believe sound plays a big role to compliment the visuals and game play of a great game.

You're great!  Maybe too great for a simple person like me.  I'm just near average when making games I've never released a game I hope this will be the first game I will release after all those prototypes I've made throughout 2 years.  So far, the game is going great.  It's about a 2d platformer miner who forgot to leave a mineshaft/cave that will blow up in 1 minute so he needs to get out of the cave as fast a possible.  I'm doing the coding and art while still juggling school and game development.  Here is the screenshot of a miner I've made for the jam.

It would be great to have an SFX and music for the game to add more atmosphere and tension to the player as he feels that every second counts.  You can respond to me with your decision after reading all these.  If you, basically an professional industry music and foley artist, want to join me, just a new game developer with no game out at all.

If another team asks you about you joining their team, they may be more ready and competent than I am.  You can join them.  It's still your decision :)
