  • Liked this game! Great style, visuals, and cyberpunk theme. The controls were pretty good, and it was responsive. Only feed back is it starts out too hard, should ease the player in, less enemies, less pits in the beginning. Overall nicely done!

top notch game!!

There were some problems with invisible collisions (shot didn't go through) and ghosts shots.  Many details I only saw in the Godot Editor and was positively surprised. I don't know if you tried it already... but the VisibilityNotifierer2D Node can be very useful for such games.

That's exactly what I expect when a game is created with Godot. ;-)

Thanks for the tip :)

Stunning! It was fun, the mechanics are smooth but a little unrefined but the art is beautiful, a simple but amazingly done concept, well done!!

Thanks a lot :) The art is public domain and by the brilliant Ansimuz, do check him out at http://pixelgameart.org/web/ and https://opengameart.org/users/ansimuz

Nice platformer. The player is a bit slippy and there are some finishing issues, but it's understandable due to the time restriction. Well done!

Developer

Thank you! Could you explain what you mean by finishing issues please?

take the falling death, for instace. The buildings just disapear at some point. Details like a smooth transition from level to level. This kind of stuff

Developer

Right, I see what you mean, thanks! I'll be fixing those soon.

My favorite one so far ! Tho the gameplay is really slippery I loved the graphics and the game feel

Developer(+1)

Yes, you're right about it being slippery, I need to change that. Thanks for the feedback!

This is really hard to rate. Basically you have just copied the game mechanics from the demo that was provided along with the pixel art assets you have used (http://pixelgameart.org/demos/warped-city/). However I've seen you have put some hours into coding and composing the scenes and it's quite fun to play, I must admit. So, good work anyway :)

The game is great so much fun mechanics soundtrack and graphics are great so well done i hope you enjoy my gameplay

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for this, I had great fun watching your video! I'm afraid there was no time to implement checkpoints. Glad you enjoyed the game, you're much better at it than me :)

Thank you so much for the kind words glad you liked it

I really like the art and it's a pretty fun platformer. Climbing the ladders felt a little slow and I don't know if it was just my sound system, but those floating robot guys at the very beginning were very overwhelming on the sound side. I could barely hear anything else when they were on screen.

Good job overall!

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback! Faster climbing would benefit gameplay but I just couldn't make it fit with the animations. And yes I will modify the drone noises once judging is over.

Thanks again for playing my game!
