The writing was good and the story was interesting. I found myself a little lost at places - it wasn't entirely clear what the Champions were doing or why. Don't get me wrong, I was intrigued and wanted to know more, and I get there's not room for reams of background exposition, but I would have appreciated a little more detail.

Loved that you could see a much deeper story in the background but was not at all necessary to enjoy this story.
