Theme
How does it fit the theme?
I thought of this piece on a drive home from my college city back to my hometown. After living in there for so long, the city had become more of a home than my hometown ever was to me. I felt that even though I was headed back home, I was leaving behind a much better one.
The panspermia hypothesis suggests that the origin of life on Earth may lie beyond the stars. I personally enjoy the possibility under this hypothesis that life was intentionally planted on Earth, similar to the Star People of C.M. Kösemen's All Tomorrows.
For my game I imagined a traveler experiencing the same sentiment. Due to personal and global circumstances, our hero must flee their home planet to the open arms of their mother civilization. While our hero has made sacrifices to leave what they've left behind, they must continue to see the bright side of what lies ahead of them.

The track was quite melancholic, I liked it. Good job!
This is good, but I would have liked more melodic content. Good job!
This is the least popular submission?!?! I guess that popularity's a lie. Five Stars for Quality.
This brought me back to playing King's Quest VII as a child. I am ready to return to Daventry.

This is a beautiful piece, it really fits the theme well.
Really beautiful! reminds of Nobuo Uematsu's compositional style for some of the town themes in final fantasy, also gives me a bit of a "lullaby" feeling.
