Description
For this game soundtrack idea I was thinking of an 8bit kind of metroidvania meaning that you search levels for upgrades through platforming and fighting enemies. I essentially wanted the setting to be the inside and outside of a mountain so I wanted the soundtrack to be ambient at most parts with the idea being to represent a lot of ice levels and winter in general.
I also wanted the title and ending screen to be somewhat similar in nature and sound as they tend to feel more complete when based off each other. As for the level theme I wanted to switch it up to be a bit more fun and bouncy.
Message from the artist:
Thanks for listening.
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
It's based completely on the season of winter in aesthetic with the idea being to represent cold wind and snow on a mountain.

Track 2 took me in slight Kraftwerk direction (which is a great thing). Track 3's hybrid of sounds was a nice touch as well - I really enjoyed these.
LOVE IT! the first 2 tracks really feel like they could be a part of an 8-bit inspired game, and then the 3rd track provides so much variety! love the guitar and the more organic elements of that track especially
The end screen is a real surprise there, love the mix of organic guitar elements with chiptune.
Thanks for the love ya'll much appreciated.
I was jamming out to the level 1 theme and the ending screen is such a vibe - good stuff!
The ending screen, love it! super chill... :)
This was a fun listen, I like the variety of sounds even within the limits of an 8-bit game. I really like the use of silence in the main theme, and the fun bassline in the main level music. It takes the normal tropes of ice levels but does its own thing with them.
I love the last track! The misty guitar came out of nowhere and gels so well with the chip sounds, it's a really lovely twist and it sounds so good
Excellent work!
Nice vibes, I think it really represented what you described. Good job!
