Description
Dormant Lies the Great One is a chant that uses melodic cells that overlap with one another, this was done in FL Studio along with other electronic instruments and plugins to help it sound even better.
History of the Great one was done completely in Sibelius, the instrumentation is similar to that of a wind ensemble. It has overlapping melodic lines, some which are taken from the previous song.
The two songs have very different timbres and sounds, but they represent the different contexts that surround the pieces.
Message from the artist
This was incredibly fun to work on!! Even though it was an incredibly short period I hope you enjoy what I've been able to provide! If you ever use these in another project, please let me know so I can see what greatness you too have done!
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
I hope I was able to take the vastness of the sky and represent it through the music. I also wanted to focus on the interaction of the Great One and humans that coexist with one another. The Great One has a deep history with humans, an incredible symbiotic relationship. The legacy and stories of the Great One have been passed down from generation to generation, but now without the support humans must do what they can to awaken the Great One once more.

Really nice work! I like the trumpet in the first one but its sounds a bit to harsh. Otherwise great work!
Dormant lies the great one is much too long with nothing new happening at all for the entirety of it.
I liked the chanting and the bassline the first time but that is all that happens for nearly 5 minutes and it got very repetitive.
change things up in the bassline or give the chanting some more unique highs to keep listeners engaged.
If more evidence is required I can upload it, or if you choose to message me on Discord I can send it there; thank you!!
