Medley

Description
A soft, dreamlike arrangement composed with wind and string orchestral sections led by a music box and a soft saxophone.

I find a lot of the NieR soundtrack already has a dreamlike quality, but with a lot of energy and tension in. This version is a lot softer and gentler and gives us a quiet instrumental medley of two of the iconic songs from the soundtrack.

The instrumentation makes this cover very contemplative, almost melancholy. Almost like being lost in a daydream.

To me this matches the theme very well and feels like a lullaby. Great job balancing the two main instruments, yet I also really love the tension that pushes and pulls like waves in the harmony instruments supporting them. Overall very nicely done!

This was a pleasant intimate experience. These songs translate very well to this format. You've turned these powerful emotional songs into a cozy bed-time story. With the originals they felt like you were living the emotion. Here, it feels like you're remembering it, but in your own personal way. Great melding of tracks and instrumental choices as well. Nice job!

Really liked this, the combo of the music box and the sax was an excellent choice :)
