I'm not exactly educated in music theory, but I can recognise the sheer force and training you had to commit and play the wonderfully orchestrated series of notes and chords. While yes, I do hope for a more fluent structure at times, I see that a lot has been put into composing this. There is so much emotion carried across by one instrument. O-O

Masterful. I assume you are a experienced keyboardist? as This Reminds me of the Baroque Music? Sonata form? i dont know its been a while, but nice to know the flame is being passed along. Would love to see a live performance video if this was done without too much reliance on software.

I do sort of stitch them five seconds at a time and then speed it up, but in origin it is performed with a full 88-key synthesizer with the sequencer built in.  I have been known to perform them all the way through a bit later, but not everything in my catalogue works for that necessarily.

Gratified that you would enjoy a video but at this stage i'm kind of a recluse with not the best internet connection.

I might consider doing videos down the road though.

Cheers!

I respect that. i am a super private person as well so when i do videos its only my hands. So if you feel comfortable getting in front of a camera, remember you could always wear gloves and not show your face. Much like ibi : https://www.youtube.com/@ibiBerlin

This track is a whole journey. Clearly, someone with quite skilled and well-trained fingers recorded this. I found myself in awe of the complex and quick chord progressions while listening, at times wishing for a bit more rhythm and structure. Consistently sticking to one instrument track throughout the entire thing, it's expectable enough though to be enjoyable, and I love the fact that you've included a bunch of nice extras in your upload.

It did get one extra pass through to throw something approximating a motif in there.

Although I think with not 100% faithfulness.

Something more along the lines of Life of Rixlor (my itch.io debut back in July) would have done it better justice where we had 3 or 4 motifs.

I threw...three-quarters of one repeat into version 2.  And it did benefit.

So I find your criticism to be wholly accurate.

Glad you gave it a listen!  Cheers
