This is a very promising demo. The aesthetics work well with the music, and the combination of shmup and clicker/idle game isn't something I've seen before. Well done! I'd be interested in seeing a more developed version of this.

(Also, always nice to see a native Linux build.)

Thanks for the feedback! I'm still working on this in my time. I want to get a proper gameplay loop going with different enemies and stuff :)

The bottom of the game's UI/screen gets cut off for players with the ever more popular 21:9 ultra-widescreen aspect ratio monitors. Could you please fix that or allow the window to be resized? Thanks!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback on that; I tried to keep the window options simple because it's a big pain to manage, but obviously it's not easy when monitors are all different sizes. I'll try to figure out a better solution on this :)

Heya! I just posted a new version that should fix your issue, let me know if you're still running into problems and I'll just make the window resizeable. I just want to avoid that if possible because Unity's canvas is kind of a pain in the butt with variable window sizes :)

Thank you! It worked!

Yay! Math to the rescue. Thanks for confirming :)

Very neat game. Although the control's plenty intuitive, the presence of a tutorial definitely helps. I especially love the polished touches here and there, like how sometimes tiles lights up or how the resources meanders about.

If there's a low-effort thing I would add, it would be some dialogue / narration as you fight the boss. Just a dialogue bubble to urge you to quickly finish him off / give context to why you are doing this / even some humor like nagging you when you damage the shields instead of the boss.

I love the suggestions! Definitely writing them down. Thanks for playing, glad you had fun with it :)
