I saw a game with a very similar story in a previous game jam, so that's a funny coincidence! In that one, you had to haunt items to scare potential buyers for your home and you lost if they saw you.

I like the concept, although it would be cool if there was some other objective for the player to work on while scaring off the visitors, since right now, there isn't a whole lot to do (which makes sense in a 48 hour game, but in case you want to keep developing this, maybe you could add some other goals/mechanics to spice things up).

A great concept for a game. Took me a while to realize how to get the objects to scare the intruders but after that i went OK. Well done.

thanks!

It's my first jam and I know there's a million things I can improve on. But it mostly just feels good to have gotten *something* together instead of just giving up the project.

Thanks for giving my game a go!

The humans didn't work for me :(( Plus it was a little difficult to find the extra rooms and the stairs (I didn't realize there were more rooms until a while had pass)

thanks for giving it a shot!

I think doors would have made the exits to other rooms more stand-out-ish but I ran out of time:(

What did the humans do in your session? There was a bug I had for a while where sometimes they got themselves stuck, but I thought I fixed that one.

When they were talking in I wasn't paying attention to where the humans were, more so what's going on. It took a while, but once I went upstairs the humans where right in front of me staring at a wall and shining their flashlight at it. I tried to haunt the nearby objects upstairs, but they didn't budge.
