Thanks for playing my game. I actually forgot to put a credits option in the main menu that's why I didn't put the sound and music credits in game. I hope I do better for the next one.
Hey,
This is an amazing creation, especially considering it's your first game. Way better than my first game... Really good take on the theme of the jam, as others mentioned, the rocks are a bit loud, but it's not too bad. Quite an addictive game, enjoyable to play, animation on the player is nice, well done!
Good luck in the jam!
thank you for your amazing comment
Great game, if not for the loud sound I would have probably tried to beat it for some more time. Walking on the obstacles to get an advantage and using the length of the keypress to control the jump height are a nice touch.
The game over sound was totally annoying :P
Thanks for the great feedback. I actually wanted to change it but I forgot:D
congrats! it has a nice feel. i really get stressed by those rocks coming! although it gets repetetive after a while... but you made a fully functional game, which you can't find many in game jams! good job!
Thanks for tour comment. The game is repetitive because in all the gamejam help type of videos they said that most games don't even get played for more than a minute so I focused on the first minute.
This is quite an addictive game. I actually like that the obstacle are equally spaced, you have to find a rhythm to manage.
Congratulations!
Thanks so much for your awsome comment it motivates me to do even better next time
Congrats on your first game!
Here's my constructive criticism. The falling rocks is a great way to justify the running, however the sound is too loud and we can't hear the music. Having different obstacles is good, but I think it would be more challenging if they were spaced randomly rather than evenly. I find the score in the middle of the screen distracting, but maybe that was the intent.
This being said, its a fully working game prototype with an animated character, a start menu, and a game over screen. You can be proud of yourself. Good job!
Thanks for the comment. I actually tried to add randomness but it didn't go as planned. I hope I can do better next time.
