OK, so I downloaded your game and gave it a second try. I had a lot of fun playing! This time around I was able to get to the ending and see the jump scare, which scared me at first. ^_^ I was able to make it past the level that was originally glitchy. I also decoded the binary messages: "HE IS HERE" in the game and "HE KILLED ALL OF THEM YOU ARE NEXT" from the game's site. For a game so fun, you really should expand upon the story. However, leaving secret messages is pretty cool too. I reminds me of this game for NES called "StarTropics" in which a secret message was left on a piece of paper that you need to add water to. Cool idea!

Thank you i might expand on it later ..idk if i will for sure since i have never devoted my time on a bigger project and i also have school.
I just join jams for fun not to actually make games but it works out ig..

I edited my rating after the fix :) Happy to see there's more after the first platform I wasn't able to get du to the bug lol The little bit of rng is nice with the binary and the Morse code. The lens red/blue effect is pretty good too. Not much to do in gameplay but overall there's a game there :) good job !

Apartment 606I played the game and eventually got to a stage where the game appeared to be unfinished. The only horror element I noticed was the screen effect where the background became grainy and had hues of red and blue. This effect was very interesting! It was a decent platformer with good hit detection! It would be good if there were different songs in the game as well as elements of horror. Also, there were small signs indicating some sort of story, but I did not really follow what they were getting at.

Our Haunted RestaurantAlso the story is supposed to be hard to understand..but if you decrypt the messages you will find out some more info..there is supposed to be an actual story but i didn't have time for it..there was even supposed to be a character you could talk to,also there is a morse code scene and more binary in game
Just checked all jumps in the game are possible so i hope you got to the end of the game:)

The ForgottenGreat! Can't wait to hear back also just double checked and yeah just make sure to hold A(left) or D(right) once your in the air so you actually move! Also don't expect great horror, the game was rushed because i entered the jam when there was only 10 days left ,and i was on a tight schedule because of school so the finale scare is trash..
