Very pretty and interesting! However, the hitboxes are very unforgiving
I struggled a little bit with perspective at first but once i got used to i enjoyed it. Also found the sliding bug randomly and thought that was quite fun. Maybe something to experiment with. The art was really nice and the death animation reminded me of Dragon's Lair on NES.
Really great work! You can super slide when crouching while walking - which I assume is a bug - is hilarious! And so is the death screen, which I had to see way too often....!
I experienced some issues when transitioning from one screen to the next I would sometimes get stuck and/or die ... so I was not able to escape the castle after all... I guess the darkness has claimed me for good. :)
yup, we had bugs with scene transitioning (An could only implement walls on the first level wich don't help with reading of the platforms). At least we managed to place a win condition (hidden as hell xD) I'll update it to clean those things, it's a shame cause with just a bit of polishing could have been great, but time is time.
And for the slide... It was an early bug but was so funny we let it in hahaha.

That makes sense. Yeah it is tough to squeeze everything into a 2-day jam. Congrats for putting it out there! I liked the killer bats, the death animation, and those pesky spike trap things.
Thanks! we runned out of time with just a couple more hours it will be in a much much better state. If someone wants to try get the win and escape the castle I'll just say some floors get destroyed if you stay in them long enough and may take you to another level ;).
