Does someone wants to collab (Bevy)?

Just noticed that there is a game jam. I never participated in any before. I have a little idea of what to make but I'm open to anything. My bevy knowledge is... okay I guess :D
I thought maybe there is someone who is also using bevy and searches for someone to collaborate?

I had planed making a visual novel in Godot, but I don't mind if it's made in Bevy.

I have tried another Rust game engine called Fyrox and there using Inkling GitHub - pjohansson/inkling

I have a plot and characters ready, but dialogue including text-to-speech and most backgrounds is missing.

I have used AI both for story and art. Im not an artist but programmer with basic Rust knowledge. I have never used Bevy. So if you want to collab then you better do all or most Bevy stuff.

If you don't like my idea, then I hope we can find one we can agree on. It could be your idea if its ready enough.

The idea is fine.

But Bevy doesn't have a good UI implementation and not so much widgets yet. Also I don't have much experience with it's UI.
So it could be a little bit more tough than in godot.

Im not sure if you mean it is doable or too risky?

Both. I mean ofc it's doable. There shouldn't be a problem with putting some sprites, labels and buttons together.
But it's risky bc. I'm not so experienced with the UI in bevy and need to experiment and read docs a lot. Also I can't assure that the end result looks as nice as planned.

If u wanna collab I'm in. But I don't want to potentially ruin the project bc. of lack of knowledge or wrong engine. So you must know if u want to take that risk :)
We should also be aligned in how much time we can/want to invest in the jam.

I don't want any of us to have a stressful jam. So I will do this jam solo with Godot.

But maybe we can colab on a future jam when you have gained the experience you feel is needed.

I thank you for the offer anyway and wish you good luck on your own idea for this jam.

Alright. Thank you. I wish you good luck too :)
