The 3 fangames you have to choose may be far from your favorite games. Thus less motivation.

You go to your Dashboard and upload your game. After that you go to this jam page overview where you press submit, where you select your newly uploaded game. You can only submit a game if you have joined the jam.
When you go to your game page you can verify in top right corner that the game has been submitted to the jam.

I use Ink from Inkle Studios and the plugin Inkpot to use it in Unreal Engine 5. ink - inkle's narrative scripting language (inklestudios.com)
You don't need to learn Ink, I just need text when the time comes.

If you don't mind AI generated character sprites and text-to-speech for visual novel, then I'm interested.
If the theme suits the free 3D models available to me, then I might use them instead of sprites. Only me on team so far.
I would like for once making a visual novel with good choices and branching.
The addons folder is empty in the GodotProject.zip file. So it can't load any Dialogic files because they are not included. I think the same goes for the web version shown on top here. It all means no dialogue shows up when entering dialogue area. It would be very nice to have it fixed. If (re)using Dialogic is an issue, I can recommend inkgd
