Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes!
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarise your game!
A game about operating a previously abandoned Railgun to defend your planet.
Check the radar for targets, lock in their coordinates in the sky and fire away! Don't let them reach your base or its game over!
All you need is left click, right click and mouse wheel. Esc optional. There is a tutorial in game. Share how many targets you destroyed before they got you!
This is very much a prototype. Inspired by FTL and Voices of the Void, but I had to focus on the most basic railgun operations for the gamejam since im solo.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You operate a gigantic railgun. Fish fear you. Also the invading cyborg spaceships.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
This whole project was outside my comfort zone being mostly UI and behind-the-scenes code. I'd just like to see what you think of the basic game flow between stations if you have time. Either way, thanks for the jam!

I had to check the tutorial a couple times before I understood what was going on, then I managed to destroy like 7 or so targets. While attempting to click on the red X to back out of a screen, I accidentally pressed the rate button and I am now here. I then went back and let the game play out just to see what the death screen looks like and saw the all your base reference, which is a plus. Ok so, I still don't know why you would want to move your guys around but it's cool you can do that I guess. The game was starting to get pretty hard, they were closing in on me pretty fast. I feel like this game would be suited for coolmathgames or something. Do you remember coolmathgames?
