  • Your GDD is solid! It laid out how you wanted the game to feel and play like, with examples to show the different parts. I appreciate the work to make the pest control worker faceless, but it doesn't feel quite like they are the weapon; the water on their back is. If they were a water elemental or something like that, rather than, presumably, a human in armor, I could see that being closer to the theme. Otherwise I rather like the game! Its a good challenge and I enjoy figuring out the best way to attack the different types of enemies. The music fits very well and I love the graffiti for the control instructions in game. Very well done!!

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
you work for a pest control organization and have been tasked with cleaning a sewer that is full of them. the mechanics of the game would be the weapon you carry which is a hose connected to a water tank, you need to face the creatures being careful with your life and the water you use, the controls are WASD to move, SHIFT run, SPACE jump, LMB shoots water and RMB locks the character.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The player is used as a weapon by the organisation to wipe out the plague.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?

Awesome little game, the bubble spraying is very satisfying! Immediately thought of Contra without looking at the GDD first. It was very hard for me to only use the mouse for the buttons and not try to aim, turn with it. But that's not the game's fault, but my ingrained habits from newer games. :)
