Summarise your game!
Cheatin' Changeling is a quick and tricky puzzle game where you play as a tiny shapeshifter who helps a card hustler cheat against Death itself. The game is inspired by the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo, our home city, and some of our local culture and stereotypes.

Players will learn a simplified version of a quick and tricky card game, then learn how to cheat it – by utilizing limited Move, Copy Suit and Copy Rank moves to form paths between desired cards and make the right card changes at the right time to come out the winner in a 3-round format.

Who you actually control is a tiny shapeshifting alien called Jiri, who has a few special actions they can take to reach and transform one or more cards per round. As such, the aim of the game is to figure out exactly how you need to cheat to turn a losing match around – since your opponent, Death, *always* cheats by just having a better hand.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
By playing as the secret weapon of local card game champion Lil’ Naldo, a shapeshifting creature called Jiri, players must take advantage of their strange abilities to cheat their way out of a losing situation. The fact that they can possess and transform cards and other objects on the table makes them the swindler’s ultimate weapon.

The art for this game is super cute, I love the soft lines, the little story moments are fun, the game itself was a little confusing, the order of what card is 'better' was kind of confusing, but I think i finally got the hang of it, would certainly love to see this idea expanded out further!
