  • GDD: The document seems too short and little bit uninteresting. Perhaps included some images for art design or mechanics to give it more context and hopefully that would make it more interesting to read? An GDD is like an elevator pitch. It has to be "mid-short" (not too short, but not too long), precise and interesting to sell the pitch of a game. At the same time it also served as a "recipe" for how to build the game. Another thing I noticed you didnt informed what game engine you were going to use in the GDD, which would be a good idea to included. Perhaps also included development timeline to showcase how much progress has been made for the game's state. Game: The art looks amazing. The gameplay feels like a classic tower defender game, which I like a lot. I wish there were more types of mushrooms that I could explore their abilities. I dont think the mute button should be hide behind the pause menu. It would be nice if it had a speedup button during waves.

I liked the pixel art of the environment, the palette was kinda wild too. I did run into a few issues, like spending all my currency on upgrades and then starting a round with nothing to spawn - would be nice if your old units could carry over (but slowly wither away). Sometimes the attacking sounds would play on loop even after the round had finished. But the game was quite enjoyable to play, I had fun unlocking and upgrading each unit. Well done!!

It was fun and the art is pretty cool, nice job! I got to level 12 with all upgrades unlocked!

Loved the art style! Reminds me of old point and click adventure games :)
