Summarise your game!
The player is a weapon dealer in a whimsical, medieval fantasy world. Customers (anthropomorphic cats) request custom weapons with specific attributes. The player must craft weapons by combining materials and parts, manage their shop, and navigate challenges like police inspections and thieves.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Our game fits the theme YOU ARE THE WEAPON by putting players in the role of a weapon dealer who crafts and customizes weapons to meet customer demands. While you’re not the weapon yourself, you’re the creator and provider, making you the source of power in this fictional world. It’s a twist on the theme, blending creativity and strategy into the role of the ultimate weapon maker.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
A Note from The Team
Hey everyone!
We are very excited to join Pirate Software - Game Jam 16 with our game "YOU ARE A WEAPON Dealer", but let's be honest - it is not the finished product we were aiming for, not even a beta version. Between exams, deadlines and unexpected circumstances, we had to make some tough cuts to meet the game jam deadline. Many mechanics, design elements and even sound effects we dreamed of are still on the drawing board.
That said, we are incredibly proud of what we have created so far and hope you see the shining potential. If we had the chance, we would love to polish this game into something truly special. Thanks for playing, and we hope you stick around to see where this journey leads!
If you're interested in our vision for the full game, you can read it in our GDD

This game is cute, I really like the feel when you slam the materials together, adding SFX to that would amp it up even more. I saw a lot had to be cut for time, which is unfortunate because I'd have loved to see this expanded further, but I do think what you were able to get done was great! Only critique would be that, well, I didn't get the full theme interpretation of YOU being the weapon, but hey, you still made something really cool!
Hello! Thank you very much for playing our game and your kind words :)
Regarding the theme of the game - we thought it would be interesting to interpret the theme in a more metaphorical way. We mentioned it in "how your game fits the theme", but I'm not sure if it's visible to everyone or just organisers:
