Judge feedback

Judge feedback is anonymous.

  • I'm trying to grasp where the usage of the mechanics/gameplay relate back to the overall theme. It's a simple card game, yes, but I can't judge based on that alone

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
Slay the spire inspired game where card mechanics are based on Tarot cards and meaning. Fully playable but lacking content variety and sounds. There are some bugs too!

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Great game, didn't quite understood the wands card and feelt like you lost more using them if it was not a high damage card, I kinda pulled some cards and sometimes it gave 3 dmg and others 18. Do not quite understand the symbol next to the enemy, it switched and felt like it was going to be their next attack if they had 10 knifes symbol for an example?

Would have been nice to see exact nr of HP each one had to figure how much to push.

Was cup gonna be armor? Because it still does the damage that my enemy said?

I might be all wrong here and maybe missed some things.

Either way, great game, some UI improvement to explain to lazy and stupit people like me. :)

Thank you for playing! Most of the listed issues are indeed poorly explained or fully missing.

Wands damage is wand cards multiplied. 3 wand, 6 swords, 2 swords would do 3 damage, but a 3 wands, 6 wands, 2 swords would be a 3x6 damage.

The symbol next to the enemy should indeed be the attack! That sounds like a bug I'm not aware of!

Exact HP seems like a basic thing that should be there from the start, it was already added to an updated version of the game :)

Cups should prevent damage, but not if they are on energy. You have to play them on yourself (assuming you have energy for it)

UI and tutorial improvements are absolutely needed, it is not easy to understand.

Thank you for all the feedback anyway :)

Really cool concept with a pretty polished UI and art style. I could see myself playing a more fleshed out version of this idea.
