  • Really good presentation and a concept that could easily be expanded on. Not much to say other that good job!

Office anxiety taken to the next level

Your day starts like any other, wasting time at work while you should be working...

Suddenly a new friend appears, he seems friendly enough, and just wants to play some games...

However, behind the scenes, dark mode is slowly spreading. Devouring and taking over precious resources and wasting time...

---

Dark mode takes the player through a first person view simulation of a work computer set around 1990.

The player wants to play games instead of working, and a virus appears
who seems to just want to play as well.

Eventually the virus takes control of the player's computer and possibly their lives.

---

The virus demands the player beat him in some games in order to recover his spreadsheets.

If the player loses the virus spreads further into his precious work documents.

The player is depicted as a mouse cursor, and controls are with mouse movements and clicks. Click on documents to open, and minimize and close windows just like a real retro desktop.

Awesome concept! I was really impressed by the art style, it all looked and felt amazing, and it was so creative to weave the minigames into other computer apps.  Would be cool to see where this could go with more time to add more games and story!
