  • It's commendable that you took the time to create everything yourself (except the music). It's super simplistic, and as it stands... it's about a 5 second experience. That's a bit too short. The shooting mechanic is also a bit strange. I'll aim somewhere, and the ammo sort of flies in random directions. Also the enemies position themselves in an easy-to-kill location. And when the game begins, it's like BAM! ENEMIES! It's so sudden. Would be a good idea to have the enemies start off-screen first, and come in gradually. I can see that you're learning, and I encourage that. Keep goin! Keep creatin! thank you for the submission!

I will second the comment below. I'd also recommend showing the controls for a second before starting. I'm the type that doesn't like to read when starting a game, and I didn't realize for the first three rounds that I could move.

The art is really cute, and this is an excellent start!

Thank you for taking the time to comment and for your feedback! :) I’ll keep it in mind when I design the start of my games to make a better user experience. I’m glad you liked my art and thought it was cute.

That cat dance brings such a smile to my face! This is an amazing start! If the cluster started off screen so I had time to compose myself before jumping in, and maybe had a few more rounds of attacks, that would make this even cooler!! :D
