Sisyphean is a minimalistic survival story game about a machine with an oil leak whose only purpose is to recover it's lost fluids.
On the way it can only contemplate it's existence with either hope or apathy. Will you fight to survive or give up and die?

Extra Notes
Note: This game uses CCDIK and Fluid Simulation... minimum requirements to run this game smoothly aren't too high, but also a cheap laptop probably won't do it.

Dark man. Interesting experience. Felt like playing a highbrow piece of art. Fluid looks great and the movements look smooth. Love as it goes on the simple movement changes. Gonna go watch something happy now.
really like the fluid sim, and the music really makes it an anxious experience trying to scoop up the oil...
This is a mood. The blocky graphics and industrial sound effects definitely set the scene, and I found myself wanting to let the poor beast die just to see what happened. Obviously the gameplay is quite simplistic, but I get the sense you're just trying to communicate an immersive experience rather than a complex game. I guess one suggestion would be to advance the oil spread slightly faster, as the timer can be left alone for quite some time before anything happens. Really interesting submission!
Hey! Thanks for the feedback! Your final note about the oil speed I think makes it clear to me that it isn't easy to actually know if you reached the end of the game or not. There is a final line to the story that you can only reach by surviving a specific amount of time, but also is nearly impossible to reach if you had just let the oil go for more than a small fraction of time.
And you're right, the goal here was much closer to an immersive experience than a complex traditional "fun" loop. Although in terms of gameplay mechanics the code was unfortunately not simple to do haha especially the CCDIK to make a multi-axis robot move like that. (Animations would have been far easier probably lol)
