- Nice to see a text-based GDD! Interesting game, as well! I like that you walk us through how the game works as we approach obstacles. For example, the tutorial for the guard doesn't appear until our first encounter with the guard. I feel like the phasing through walls thing could be better demonstrated in-game, perhaps with a nice mini tutorial screen as well. And it was funny when the guard just jumped up and zoomed off at the notice of a light switching off :) Well done so far, this is a good start. I feel the theme was a bit loose here, but you've got a good foundation for a game to build upon.
Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
Maybe
Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?

Neat concept, and well explained instructions, I had fun playing! The animations and design were nice
Glad to hear that you enjoyed it! :)
Your intro was really funny, But the character is too close to the camera and background being the same color as platform wasn't helping with readability.
Also you really shoe horn the theme in your game didn't you? :p
I 100% agree with you, especially with the camera, I mostly tested in a windowed mode, so it didn't feel like a huge issue, even though it definitely was in hindsight.
I mostly just scrapped things together until they worked, with minimal changes, including the same color platform sprites. (and theme implementation lmao)
Thank you for the feedback, and thank you for taking the time to play and write a comment on my game.
Nice ending + cool mechanics. I was really confused with the guards for a bit since you have to read the description in order to understand that they can't detect you while standing still. Maybe add a bit of a tutorial in game for that.
Thank you, that completely went past me during development, expect a few tweaks and a small guard section added to level 1 before the jam ends 👍
Edit: Done, Also, removed the first guard in Level 4 because it only made the game less fun.
