  • The game is not very clear about any objectives, but does look to offer a lot of variation in the potion making. The art is simple but effective enough to show the state of ingredientes. The shadow idea while described in the GDD is not apparent in the game sadly. I feel this game could be fun with more time put into objectives and details to ingredients and resulting potions.
  • I didn't understand the goal of mixing the potions. When playing I just found myself pressing all the keys that were lit up, but it didn't seem like there was a reward to it. Should be a bit more intuitive.

Good job on making a game, looks like there is a lot to do and lot of combinations which sounds promising, but there was too many information thrown at me without real guidance. I did enjoy the sort of mini game aspect, with the pot mixing and such. A bit more of emphasis on teaching the player what they can do even if the game is supposed to be like a sandbox I think could help a lot.

Thanks for playing and writing about it. I didn't get around the teaching bit, as I ran out of time, but there were plans to make the ingredients and the items (Knife, Mortar, Mallet) unlock as you learn the basics of moving stuff in containers, as to not overwhelm the player too much.
