_one_more_line is a puzzle, point-and-click, platformer horror-game originally inspired by the concept of being a developer always needing to code "one more line". The plot revolves around a developer's slow mental decline through playtesting his indie game on what quickly turns out to be a VERY haunted PC.
Mechanically, _one_more_line is built in two sections. The point-and-click sections revolve around finding a way to turn the PC back on. At first this is fairly easy- at least until the power goes out. The platformer sections follow an unnamed, adorable alchemist hero slowly climbing a potion-filled castle. Unfortunately, ferrets can only manage to hold one potion effect at a time, which leaves it up to you, the player, to carefully structure the order in which you collect them, with the goal of reaching the exit door.
_one_more_line uses fairly simple controls, in an attempt to reach a wider audience. In the point-and-click segments, all movement and interaction can be managed with just the left mouse button. Inside the internal (platformer) segments, WASD or the arrow keys can be used to move, space to jump, 'E' to dash (when available), 'W' to go through doors, 'R' to reset your current puzzle, and 'X' to perform the world's best tiny ferret dance. The last of these originally stemmed from a bug, where mashing a directional input midair causes the same effect. Because it was cute :picklebongo:, the *ahem* FEATURE was left in the game in addition to having a command button added.

Really enjoyed the storytelling and atmosphere. The black and white contrast when there is a lightning strike was really neat. Cool game :)
Had a few bugs where clicking the cable at the stat did not plug it into the wall, but reloading the game fixed it for me. Also fell into a hole i could not seem to get out of but i could of just been missing somthing :p
Some people have has a hard time reading the background signs, depending on monitor. You can press 'R' to reset a puzzle :). Thanks for playing, btw!
