  • great looking game. I like the idea, but it needs some polish. I just kept spinning on the stairs and falling back, so getting past there seemed to be just an RNG check.

Story:
You play as this jar that was thrown away from an alchemy lab, as you attempt to escape from the caverns below you gain new methods of maneuvering yourself by attaching limbs to your body.

Controls:
you can rotate yourself with A & D
your limbs are bound by your choice to [H] [J] [K] [L]

Inspiration:
I really loved the idea of QWOP but felt like it could be so much more interesting if you had a frog leg instead. So I made a physics based Foddian game where every time you get caught the alchemist picks you up and throws you away.

Mechanics:
You can attach body parts to specific attachment points, but you can also attach them to themselves. This quickly becomes very silly when you have a leg thats reaching across the screen. Or a frog legs that launch you straight into the ceiling. When a limb attaches to one that already has a key, that attached limb will simply activate when the first one does.

Extra Notes
I learned on the last day that godot's lighting does not support shadows on HTML 5 so I had to redo the lights that represent the sight-lines. Now they are literal lines thats just if you were wondering why I didn't use the occlusion for shadows. Also its not a bug that you cannot attach a limb to the little slime guy, if you could he would launch into the wall and splat going 5000px/sec.

Whelp, I am officially too dumb and/or impatient to finish this game haha. The concept is super cool but after grinding away at a wall for 15 minutes and not making any progress I didn't really feel like continuing. The art is great tho and the hand yeeting you into oblivion when you're caught is awesome. Once I even managed to use it to get up a ledge becuase one of my limbs got stuck in a rock while the hand was lifting me.

Super cool! I really enjoy playing this one!

The hand throwing you back is such a cool thing, like you could've just done a regular respawn/checkpoint but this is soo much cooler.

Also I will now haunt you with the fact that light shadows on HTML are supported in 4.3. You could've just updated to the beta ;)

The concept is simple, original and works like a charm. Very good game, well done!
